Rule 4
Responsibilities and Duties of the Chief Justice
(1) The Chief Justice has come to understand or appear to be guilty of bad conduct or serious violation of the Code of Conduct as mentioned in Section 11 of the Council of Justice Act, 2073, and as mentioned in Section 12 of the judge's failure to fulfill his official duties honestly, acts of dishonesty and bad conduct. The details should be sent to the Chief Justice immediately.
(2) The Chief Justice shall send to the Chief Justice every month the work details of the court and district court judges.
(3) The Chief Justice shall take necessary steps from his level to solve the issues related to the discipline of the official employees of the court and the subordinate courts, the issues of non-observance of official duties and bad character, complaints, complaints and perceived deficiencies and issues that cannot be resolved or are of a serious nature. The details should be sent to the Chief Justice immediately.
(4) In accordance with rule 3, administrative control of oneself and the subordinate courts or by not taking immediate action or taking necessary steps in the matter of sub-rules (1), (2) and (3) if indiscipline increases or if negative perception of the court is created in the public mind due to this, the accountability thereof. will be of the Chief Justice.
(5) A judge acting as the head of the bench or temporary bench in which he is working should coordinate with the chief judge and perform his duties.
